BARBARA ACHIEVES GOLD FOR 50 YEARS AS A JUSTICE OF THE PEACE FOR QUEENSLAND

Barbara Barr was recently recognised for 50 years of service as a Justice of the Peace for Queensland
I recently presented a special certificate to Barbara in recognition of her 50 years of service as a Justice of the Peace for Queensland.
Barbara first became appointed as a Justice of the Peace for Queensland whilst living in Tara in 1967.
Barbara has served the community in this role over the past 5 decades signing thousands of documents, statutory declarations and affidavits, as well as assisting with three separate court proceedings in Mitchell.
The importance of these volunteers working within Queensland’s legal system cannot be underestimated and I would like to once again pay tribute to Barbara for her truly outstanding efforts in this role on behalf of the thousands of people that she has assisted over the past 50 years.
