Fair Work Australia must immediately prepare a brief of evidence
It is clear, on the known facts, that hundreds of thousands of dollars of low paid union members’ money have been misused.
For justice to be served, the responsible individuals must be identified and charged.
Fair Work Australia must, as a matter of urgency, assemble a brief of evidence and provide this to the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions.
If Fair Work Australia does not have the technical ability to do this, it should immediately engage solicitors to do so.
As this investigation has now entered its fourth year, it is imperative that the progress of this matter is not delayed any further.
The investigation cannot be allowed to simply hit a brick wall.
