Queenslanders will come together today as a show of support and appreciation for the work and sacrifices of our Police Officers on Police Remembrance Day.
I know it is not an easy job. But it is an important one and our community relies on the work and sacrifices of Police Officers.
Every Officer bears the scars of the situations Police face.
Today we recognise each and every Officer who works to keep our community safe.
We also acknowledge those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice, either in the course of their duty or as a result of their service to the community.
In particular, we remember Constables Matthew Arnold and Rachel McCrow.
To all our Police Officers, Queensland thanks you.
