Statement from Shadow Transport Minister Andrew Powell re Labor’s fuel price ‘reform’

Mark Bailey’s wishy-washy statement is about nine months late to the party.

Last March the LNP announced our policy to end petrol price confusion while the Minister just held a talk-fest.

Our policy meant petrol stations would have to display the undiscounted price of the most popular fuel at the top of the board.

Today’s statement from Labor commits to nothing except more talk.

On a day when Annastacia Palaszczuk has back-flipped on a key policy it is hard to take any promise by Labor seriously.
